so you tell yourself, "don't say that, don't ruin such a good thing" but at the same time, if it isn't said, you feel like an opportunity is missed. the question is, what happens if the opportunity was never there in the first place?

you learn to love, you learn to let go, but they don't teach you how to let go of love. unless that was the one day i decided to skip class.

a friend and i spoke over the last couple of days. he's just a few years younger than me, but is going through the same thing i did a few years back. i told him, "take care of yourself first, your time will come". it pains me to see him like this because when he looks me straight in the eye and says "i can't see my life without her", it unearths old memories and i know exactly what he's saying.
